Planivore was born from a concrete mandate: helping a CEGEP track the execution of its strategic plan. Since then, the platform has grown with its users to become the go-to strategic plan tracking tool for public, municipal, educational and community organizations across Canada.

A tool shaped by real-world use
Planivore was not designed in a lab. The platform grew out of a concrete need expressed by a Quebec educational institution, then was shaped by feedback from dozens of organizations that use it every day.
Every feature answers a real problem: keeping momentum after the planning exercise, follow-up that relies on goodwill rather than a process, accountability reporting that takes weeks of manual work. This closeness to the field is what makes Planivore a tool that fits the reality of organizations.

Co-creation with Collège Ahuntsic
Collège Ahuntsic approached our team with a specific need: a tool to track the execution of its strategic plan and simplify accountability reporting. Rather than deliver a turnkey solution, we co-created the tool with the college's teams, grounded directly in their day-to-day operations.
2021 -
Adoption across the CEGEP network
Word of mouth did its work. Several CEGEPs expressed interest in the solution. The platform was adapted into a SaaS model to meet each institution's needs while pooling development.
2022 -
Planivore officially launches
With satisfied clients in several sectors, the decision was made to turn the strategic plan tracking tool into a product in its own right. Planivore officially launched as a dedicated platform. That same year, eco-design and accessibility principles were built into the platform.
2023 -
Toward new clients and new markets
Planivore evolved to meet the needs of municipalities, public organizations, nonprofits and other sectors beyond education. The platform was redesigned to be scalable, multilingual and adaptable to different geographic contexts.
2024 -
Expansion and artificial intelligence
Planivore welcomed its first clients outside Quebec and launched its artificial intelligence module, built right into the platform. Existing clients broadened their use: beyond the strategic plan, they now use Planivore to track their projects, operational action plans and capital plans. Planivore is gradually replacing traditional project management tools.

Today
Several thousand users in public, municipal, educational and community organizations across Canada use Planivore every day. The platform is used by 50% of Quebec's public CEGEPs.
