Prices
Test
Planivore’s pricing is based on the size of your organization. Annual licenses are structured for small, medium, and large organizations, with custom options available for larger organizations. Pricing is not based on the number of users. However, each plan includes a maximum number of users: 100 for small organizations, 300 for medium, and 500 for large.
Each license includes full access to the platform, along with support: help center, training videos, best practice guides, online support, and an annual check-in.
Implementation is a one-time service that supports your initial setup, training, and onboarding. It includes strategic plan integration, a sample action plan, Microsoft SSO configuration with Entra ID, sample KPI setup, and report template setup, ensuring your environment is ready to deliver value from day one.
Yes. You can extend the platform’s capabilities with add-on modules, such as the financial planning module. Additional needs, such as data imports, report development, additional training, or custom development, can be reviewed separately and priced accordingly.
Yes. Multi-year agreements (3 to 5 years) are available and include implementation at no additional cost (a $4,000 value). A minimum total license value of $16,000 over the term is required.
Strategic Planning
Yes. Planivore connects strategy with actions, projects, and performance indicators. This makes it easier to track execution while maintaining a clear link to the organization’s strategic priorities.
Yes. Any plan structured in levels can be added to Planivore, such as a climate plan, sustainability plan, mobility plan, or any other plan specific to your organization. Operational plans and projects that are not directly linked to the strategy can also be added and tracked. This makes Planivore a central environment for executing strategy while also managing other organizational initiatives and projects.
Yes. There is no limit to the number of plans that can be added to Planivore for an organization. This makes it possible to centralize multiple plans within the same environment.
Define a clear vision, strategic directions, measurable objectives, and actionable initiatives.
Yes. A strategic plan can be structured with two to four levels in Planivore, depending on your organization’s structure and needs.
A strategic direction is a key priority area that guides your organization’s actions over several years.
Reporting and Monitoring
Yes. Planivore offers a variety of report templates, including strategic and operational overviews, progress monitoring, indicators, and action lists. Each template can be customized to provide the appropriate level of information for the intended audience, such as senior leadership, a board, or internal teams. Once a report is configured, the same model can be reused for future reporting cycles with updated data.
Yes. Reports can be shared through a link, making it possible to share them with both Planivore users and people who do not have an account, such as council members, board members, or other stakeholders. This makes it easier to share information without creating platform access for every recipient.
Planivore offers several report templates, including strategic overview, strategic and operational overview, progress monitoring, strategic assessment, strategic and operational assessment, detailed action list, and indicators monitoring. These templates can then be customized to meet your organization’s needs.
Dashboards provide real-time visibility into objectives, initiatives, and performance indicators.
Yes, you can generate reports to communicate results and progress to stakeholders.
Goals and Metrics
Yes. Indicators can be displayed in different ways in Planivore, including gauges, traffic lights, choices, numerical values, or pictograms. Colours can also be customized to better reflect your organization’s needs and visual conventions.
An objective should be clear, measurable, realistic, and aligned with the organization’s strategic priorities.
Performance indicators help measure progress toward achieving strategic objectives.
Collaboration and Governance
Yes, multiple team members can participate in planning based on configured roles and permissions.
Each objective or initiative can be assigned to an owner to ensure clear accountability.
Schedule a demo
About 30 minutes is enough to explore Planivore, review the main features, and discuss your needs. We also leave time to answer your questions.
No. If you already have a strategic plan, we would be happy to review it before the meeting so we can tailor the demo to your context. If your plan is still being developed, or if you are mainly looking for a tool to support execution, we can also discuss your needs and share what we see working with other organizations.
It is not required, but your colleagues are welcome to join. IT teams often have questions early in the process, as do people responsible for strategy, execution, reporting, or communications. You can invite anyone who may be involved in evaluating or using the platform.
Partner
Yes. The partner program is designed for firms and professionals who want to extend their support beyond strategic plan delivery and help clients with execution, tracking, and reporting.
Yes. The partner program helps you support clients beyond strategic plan delivery by staying involved in execution and tracking. It also helps you remain connected to how their plans evolve, identify new needs, and broaden your service offering.
Dashboards
Planivore offers three levels of reading: a global view of the strategic plan and its linked actions, a view of the action plans you take part in, and a cockpit that brings all your indicators together. You move from the big picture to the details without switching tools.
The main dashboard displays your strategic plan with its linked actions, the basic indicators (progress, assessment and priority) and the custom indicators attached to each level. You see overall performance in one place.
No. Each view adapts to the person’s role. Senior management follows the overall progress of the plan, while a manager sees the details of their own actions and indicators. Access is defined by the roles and permissions configured in Planivore.
Yes. Each user can select the action plans they take part in to keep them close at hand. This personalized view highlights their actions, indicators and progress, without drowning the information in the rest of the organization.
The cockpit brings together all your custom and global indicators in a condensed view. Pictograms, gauges, numbers with targets: you see the status of each indicator at a glance, wherever it is attached in your plans.
Yes. Indicators update in real time and automatically feed the dashboards. There is nothing to compile or re-enter in a parallel spreadsheet: what your teams record during follow-up is reflected directly in the views.
Performance indicators
Yes. Every plan item automatically has three basic indicators: progress, assessment and priority. You can then add your own custom indicators at any level of the strategic plan or your action plans, to measure everything that matters to you.
Planivore offers three types of indicators. Basic indicators are built into every level of the plan, with no setup. Custom indicators measure what matters to your organization and are linked to the plan item they measure. Global indicators provide a cross-cutting view of performance.
Progress places the item on a completion scale, from “Not started” to “Completed”. Assessment adds a qualitative judgment: very problematic, to be monitored, satisfying or ahead. An item at 40% can therefore still be ahead of schedule, and the assessment makes that clear.
You choose a display type (gauge, choice, traffic light, number or pictogram), a starting value, a target and an update frequency. The indicator is then linked directly to the plan item it measures and automatically appears in your dashboards and reports.
Yes. The choice indicator lets you define your own values and colours: a rating scale, a completion status, themes, emojis or simple dots. It is ideal for tracking what cannot be measured in numbers.
Global indicators are not tied to a specific plan item. They track cross-cutting metrics that span several plans or departments, and they appear in the cockpit to provide a condensed view of organizational performance.
No. Indicators update in real time and automatically feed dashboards and reports. Indicators from linked action plans also roll up to the global view: operational performance connects to the strategic vision, with no re-entry and no parallel spreadsheet.
Internal and public governance
Yes. You set precise roles for each administrator and user, and limit access by department, by plan or by hierarchical level. Advanced permissions go further, restricting access to specific sections, sensitive indicators or confidential plans.
Yes. The public view lets you share your strategic plan at a high level, with no login required. Every level of sharing is defined according to your needs: your organization stays in control, and your stakeholders see what concerns them.
Working notes support day-to-day coordination and stay within the team. Review notes are reserved for official accountability reporting: they feed the reports intended for the board of directors, the public or funders. What was documented during follow-up does not need to be rewritten at review time.
Yes. Every change to an indicator, an action or a plan item is logged in a complete history: who made it, when and on what.
The context stays. Their successor finds the decisions, notes and documents right where they were left, along with the change history. The plan’s memory does not leave with its people.
Every strategic plan item and every action can be assigned to an owner and one or more collaborators. The owner is accountable for progress and updates, while collaborators contribute to execution without bearing final responsibility. You always know who leads what and who takes part.
Yes. An action can be broken down into tasks, each with its own owner, dates and weighting. Managers filter their department’s actions, collaborators find the ones they take part in, and filters by date or by indicator bring out what needs attention.
Security and integrations
Yes. Planivore integrates with Microsoft 365 through Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on (SSO). Your users sign in with their existing organizational credentials, without creating a new account.
Microsoft SSO configuration with Entra ID is part of the implementation service, which covers the initial setup, training and onboarding of your Planivore environment.
Yes. Planivore’s REST API lets you connect the platform to your other systems and business tools. Data is exchanged in JSON, a standard supported by the vast majority of software.
Every API call is authenticated with a token and travels over an encrypted HTTPS connection (TLS 1.2 and 1.3). Your integrations benefit from the same security measures as the platform.
Yes, through a link. Add a link to the document in SharePoint, Google Drive or any other storage space. The document stays in place and always up to date, attached to the item it documents, with no copy to maintain.
Yes. Specific needs, such as data imports or custom development, are reviewed separately and priced accordingly. Talk to our team to find the best way to connect Planivore to your tools.
Artificial intelligence
In every field, an AI menu offers four actions: Compliance, to check an action against your own documents, plus Translate, Correct and Improve, to work on your text. The assistant works right in the field, without leaving your plan.
Planivore compares your actions with your policies, procedures and standards. The assistant gives a verdict (compliant, non-compliant or undetermined) and cites the document and procedure behind its answer. It then suggests a compliant version of your text.
You decide. Five levels let you balance the check, from “your documents only” to “AI assistant only”.
No. The assistant’s suggestion appears under the field, next to your text, so you can compare both versions. Nothing changes until you click Apply; you can also copy the suggestion, regenerate it or cancel.
Yes. The AI menu offers Translate, along with Correct, which fixes mistakes, and Improve, which rewords for clarity. The assistant works on the text in the field and you apply its suggestion in one click.
Yes. You can rate each answer from the assistant, or regenerate it if it doesn’t suit you, before deciding whether to apply it.
Moderation
Moderation lets you approve updates before they go live. When someone updates an action covered by moderation, the change stays pending until a moderator decides. Meanwhile, the published version stays in place for everyone.
Every change moves through three clear states: draft, pending, then approved. Everyone knows where it stands.
Moderators see the current and proposed versions side by side, field by field. They approve to publish the change, or refuse it.
The item goes back to draft and its author is notified. They can then revise the update before submitting it again.
You assign moderators by person or by role. They are notified as soon as a request needs them.
Yes. With advanced moderation, you set the conditions to meet before anything is submitted, such as a completed priorities form.
In your action plans, every card shows its moderation status, so moderators see right away what’s left to review.
Reporting and accountability
No. Planivore builds your reports from the data your teams already enter: orientations, objectives, means, actions and tasks, with their owner, priority and progress assessment. When an action moves forward, the report moves with it.
Yes. You choose which plan levels to show and which indicators to include, then filter by department, period or stakeholder.
Yes. You can export a navigable PDF, for example for your board of directors.
Yes. The sharing link is secured by two-factor authentication and stays valid for as long as you decide.
Yes. The same report is produced in French and English from the same data.
Yes. You can archive a report at a specific date to keep an accurate snapshot of progress, and track how each indicator evolves period after period against its target.
You can see your actions and their tasks on a quarterly timeline, where overlapping or slipping deadlines stand out at a glance, or produce one card per action with its owner, health status, labels, links to the strategic plan, indicator and notes.
Municipalities
Yes. The city’s strategic plan, the plans of a specific department and thematic plans, such as climate adaptation, sustainable mobility or culture, are managed side by side in a single environment. Each keeps its own structure and cycles while contributing to the overall vision.
Yes. Public works, urban planning, recreation, environment, public safety: each department runs its own action plan. You can also create cross-cutting plans, for example on the environment, sustainable mobility or digital transition. Progress on linked actions rolls up to the strategic plan, and a single action can contribute to several action plans.
Yes. Planivore’s capital plan is designed specifically for municipalities. Your projects can be planned over a three-year capital works program (PTI), a five-year program (PQI) or a ten-year capital plan (PDI), with borrowing by-laws, grants, working capital and parks funds, project sheets, a municipal prioritization grid and debt service simulation.
Yes. Global indicators link a single measure to several plans with no double entry: an environmental indicator can feed the climate plan, the strategic plan and a departmental plan at the same time. You can also configure custom indicators (gauges, traffic lights, number with target, colour-coded levels) linked to your plans.
Yes, through the public view, available with no login required. Citizens and partners see your strategic plan’s progress at a high level, and you stay in control: only the items you choose are visible.
Progress reports, periodic reviews and financial reports are generated in a few clicks from data already entered by departments. Your quarterly, semi-annual or annual cycles all rely on a single source of truth, with no last-minute compiling.
Public and quasi-public entities
Yes. Planivore lets you manage your plans and your reporting in French and English at the same time, with no duplication or extra effort. Your official reports come out in both languages from a single source of truth, which eliminates the risk of inconsistencies.
Yes. You configure your plan on 2, 3 or 4 levels to match your framework: issues, orientations, focus areas, objectives, expected results, measures, actions. The terminology adapts to your vocabulary, and several administrative units can contribute to the same plan while keeping their contribution traceable.
The role-based access model (RBAC) gives granular control over who can see which plans, indicators and data, and advanced permissions restrict sensitive areas to authorized people. At the other end, the public view shares the strategic plan’s progress at a high level, with no login required. You balance operational confidentiality with institutional transparency.
In Canada. Planivore data is hosted on OVHcloud infrastructure, whose Canadian data centres are covered by ISO 27001 certification. The platform also offers granular permission management and single sign-on (SSO) through Microsoft Entra ID.
Annual management reports, mid-term reviews and sector-specific reports are built continuously from the data entered by administrative units. Planivore includes several templates (compact overview, period over period, action list, Gantt, strategic review), with advanced filters and archiving.
Yes. You can attach SharePoint links anywhere in Planivore to connect your plans, actions and indicators to your reference documents. Policies, directives and official documents stay one click away, in line with your IT policies.
Education
Yes. From elementary and secondary schools to higher education, Planivore structures your strategic plan the way that suits you (orientations, objectives, means, actions) and adapts its terminology to your institution’s vocabulary. Annual or multi-year accountability cycles are built in.
Yes. In education, people often talk about work plans rather than action plans. Each management team manages its own, with its actions, projects and deadlines. Progress rolls up to the institutional strategic plan and shows how each team contributes to collective success.
Yes. Educational consultants, student services staff, coordinators or research officers are involved as leads or contributors to move actions forward. Management teams own the plans, and professionals move them forward.
Yes. You configure custom indicators for the gauges that matter: perseverance, graduation, transition to higher education, school climate, inclusion, research. Each indicator has its own target, levels, colours and alert threshold, and a cross-cutting indicator can link a single measure to several orientations without duplication.
Yes. The terminology adapts to your environment: management teams, work plans, educational project, commitment-to-success plan, success plan. In higher education, it adapts to faculties, departments, student services or vice-rectorates. Your teams keep their bearings.
Board of directors, governing board, governance committees, ministry: Planivore generates periodic reports and reviews from continuously entered data. The accountability cycle becomes a by-product of everyday work, with no manual compiling.
Nonprofits and foundations
Yes. No need for a complex structure: you configure your plan with 2, 3 or 4 levels depending on the granularity you need and adapt the terminology to your own vocabulary, for example by talking about teams rather than departments. The dashboard gives you an overview at a glance.
Planivore generates progress reports, periodic reviews and summary views from data already entered. Preparing for board meetings goes from several days to a few hours, with fresh, reliable information for decision-making.
Yes. Every funder has its own requirements: indicators, periods, format. You filter reports by project, focus area or indicator to produce exactly what each one asks for. Actions, expenses and results remain traceable at all times.
Yes. Each action has a lead, tasks, deadlines and budget tracking, and all actions and projects roll up to the strategic plan. List, column and Gantt views give you the perspective you need, so nothing falls through the cracks.
Yes. Granular permissions let you share specific plans with the board of directors or a particular committee without exposing the rest. Each action keeps an accountable lead and can have contributors.
Enterprises
Because a strategic plan shouldn’t live in a slide deck while follow-up happens in spreadsheets, emails and meetings. Planivore brings objectives, action plans, projects and indicators together in one environment: every team sees its contribution, and leadership steers with up-to-date data instead of manual compilations.
Yes. You run the corporate plan alongside those of your divisions, subsidiaries or business units, interconnected or independent. Each keeps its own structure and cycles while contributing to the big picture.
Yes. Sales, operations, finance, human resources, IT: each department runs its action plan with its leads, contributors and deadlines. You can also create cross-functional plans for major initiatives, such as digital transformation, expansion, continuous improvement or sustainability. Action progress rolls up to the strategic plan.
All the ones that matter to you: growth, profitability, customer satisfaction, employee retention. You configure your key indicators (gauges, traffic lights, number with target, coloured levels) with their targets and alert thresholds. A global indicator can feed several plans at once, with no double entry.
The main dashboard shows your strategic plan with its linked actions, their progress, assessment and priority. The cockpit brings all your indicators together in a condensed view: leadership sees overall performance at a glance, and produces board reports in a few clicks.
Yes. You control access with custom roles and granular permission management. Planivore data is hosted in Canada on OVHcloud infrastructure, whose Canadian data centres are covered by ISO 27001 certification, and your teams sign in through Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on (SSO).
